Add your GoPro videos now to The Streetview Video Map with fast and easy .MP4 or .LRV upload!
Its now quicker and easier than ever to add your GoPro videos to the Streetview Video Map with .MP4 or .LRV selection. The .MP4 or .LRV files are not actually uploaded but rather processed within the browser.
This incedible new feature is made possible by code open sourced by Juan Irache, the maker of the TELEMETRY EXTRACTOR for GoPro. I would not have been able to add this feature to the Streetview Video Map without the help of Juan Irache.
Watch the video now to see the GoPro .LRV files being processed and added to the map or see below for the screenshots.
Process your video and upload to YouTube first. Click the Add Video Route button.
Click the Add GoPro .LRV Files button.
Browse to where your GoPro files are located and select all the .LRV or .MP4 for your video. Click Open.
Watch as each .LRV file is processed and added to the map. The center of the screen shows the current position.
Watch the story unfold.
When its finished processing it places the map back at the start. Check the route is correct and click the Get Video button.
Browse YouTube and go to where your video details are. Copy the video link.
Go back to maps.video and paste the link in the input. Write a detailed description. Click submit.
If you are not already signed in click OK to continue.
Please wait. Depending on how long your video route is it could take some time.
Processing is finished and the video is now live on the Streetview Video Map!
Click the share button.
Copy the permalink.
Go back to YouTube and paste the permalink in the video description so people can find the video on the map from YouTube.
